The Catholic Church is Evil

The news on the Catholic Church just keeps getting worse and worse.  Now the previous Pope, John Paul II, is getting some media exposure of the worst kind.

From NPR News:
“As the Roman Catholic Church tries to defend Pope Benedict XVI from criticism over his handling of the clerical sex abuse scandal, the record of his predecessor, Pope John Paul II, is also getting attention. New questions are being raised about whether the most popular pope of the last century played a role in covering up cases of sex abuse.

When John Paul died five years ago, millions of faithful poured into Rome for his funeral, chanting, “Santo subito” or “Make him a saint now.” Just two months later, Benedict XVI waived the usual five-year waiting period and put the Polish-born pope on the fast track to sainthood.

But in recent weeks, allegations have surfaced that the late pope — or at least members of his inner circle — obstructed an investigation into Marcial Maciel Degollado, the Mexican founder of the Legion of Christ who had both molested young boys and fathered several children with different women.”  Full story Here: http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=125788687

So now we have two Popes being criticized for covering up priestly sexual abuse.  I wonder how many Popes down through history have done the same thing; I’ll bet it’s more than 1 or 2.

The damaging stories just keep coming, there seems to be no end.  Ever since the first stories started breaking about priestly sexual abuse of young boy’s in the US, I have been saying that the problem will be found to be world-wide, and no doubt existed down throughout the long history of the Church—although a look into deep past history of abuse has not been followed yet.

I think the Catholic Church has lost all authority as a religion and a moral guide for humanity.  They still resist airing out the dirty laundry they have accumulated over 1700+- years.  They cannot be trusted with our children, they cannot be trusted as moral guides, and they cannot be trusted to do the right thing.  The Church is dirty and in the corruptive clutches of evil men.

“According to some interpretations of St. Malachi’s vision, the Pope who succeeds Benedict XVI will be “Petrus Romanus” (Peter the Roman) the final Pope who will oversee the destruction of the Catholic Church.”

“In the final persecution of the Holy Roman Church there will reign Petrus Romanus (Peter the Roman), who will feed his flock amid many tribulations; after which the seven-hilled city will be destroyed and the dreadful Judge will judge the people.”

The Catholic Church’s hierarchy is acting in direct opposition to their claim to provide a moral compass for life.

    • Here’s some moral compass :

Today, Bright Monday, April 6, 2015 A.D., is the 937th day in the 1,290 and 1,335 day periods of Daniel 12:11 & 12, respectively.

Of May 8, 2016 A.D., it was foretold more than 2,500 years ago, and written :

“Blessed is he who waits and comes unto 1,335 days.”

Great and Holy Friday, March 25, 2016 A.D., begins the final 45 days of the 1,335 day period.

This is the judgment of fire foretold in :

      2 Peter 3:10-14 Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition (DRA)

10 But the day of the Lord shall come as a thief, in which the heavens shall pass away with great violence, and the elements shall be melted with heat, and the earth and the works which are in it, shall be burnt up.

11 Seeing then that all these things are to be dissolved, what manner of people ought you to be in holy conversation and godliness?

12 Looking for and hasting unto the coming of the day of the Lord, by which the heavens being on fire shall be dissolved, and the elements shall melt with the burning heat?

13 But we look for new heavens and a new earth according to his promises, in which justice dwelleth.

14 Wherefore, dearly beloved, waiting for these things, be diligent that you may be found before him unspotted and blameless in peace.

How true…the church, if its to survive, needs to totally restructure and rethink itself.

They can never again claim moral superiority.

I personally vote they shut it down…I would never trust it again.

let me guess: you are gay, hate your parents, and think religon is for the stupid?
The Catholic church accounts for 2billion people who throughout the ages -even with bad popes- have continued to fight injustice and poverty. Yes we have bad popes but they are not our church, we are.

    Hi Anonymous, thanks for writing.

    You write:
“let me guess: you are gay, hate your parents, and think religon (sic) is for the stupid?”

No, I am not gay and my parents died when I was quite young…I really did love them.

However I do think religion is stupid…notice I said religion, not the people. The people have been conned by the most sophisticated institution around, and don’t know any better.

    You write:
“The Catholic church accounts for 2billion people who throughout the ages -even with bad popes- have continued to fight injustice and poverty. Yes we have bad popes but they are not our church, we are.”

No, the Catholics account for 1.2 billion people, not 2 billion…that’s a difference of almost 3 times the population of the US. Bad Popes in the Church have accounted for millions of unnecessary deaths, grinding poverty, population explosion of tremendous consequences…i.e. overpopulation, not enough food, not enough water, not enough medical care or medicine…and still the currant Pope says condoms are evil and don’t prevent AIDS.

Well I have news for him and you…he is an evil man and his and your church has been hiding evil, evil deeds for 1500 years and those evil deeds are from all over the world. What we have seen so far is the tip of the iceberg.

The Catholic Church is the richest single institution in the world and a LOT of its members are counted among the lowest on the social/economic scale (in other countries) and yet the church still extracts billions of dollars every year from its poor. It has no soul, it is an evil entity and needs to be cleaned out.

Something to think about—the Pope supposedly has a line to God and Heaven, he speaks infallibly…why would God not notify His man on the scene (Pope) that bad bad bad stuff was happening in his church?

Down through the years, why would God let his earthly contact (Popes) be evil men, like many of them were? There have been no signs of Godly displeasure against the church…it just toddles along screwing children right and left and the Bishops and Vicars and Popes have let it happen time after time…for 1500 years or more.

The Catholic Church and the way it operates is a big indication that there is no God behind it or any other church…it’s all a con.

    Hi Again Anonymous,

    More for you:

Michael Ruse in a column for the Huffington Post. Ruse takes the position that it is possible to reconcile the Christian faith with evolutionary theory. Mr. Ruse is a philosopher (Doctorate) of biology, and is well known for his work on the creationism/evolution controversy.

“But I do now think that as presently constituted, the Catholic Church is corrupt and should be eradicated.”

“The moral mess gets worse and worse. Hope of change is illusory. Götterdämmerung beckons. Although we have different motives and undoubtedly hope for different outcomes, I join Dawkins in welcoming the prospect.” (Dawkins is calling for the end of the church also)

  6. Christ's Angel says:

It is a bit late tonight for me and the cat – but know this – Ratzinger is not the Roman Pontiff of the Catholic Church. I, though still an Angel, am Peter the Roman, the last Pontiff listed in the St. Malachy list. This is in response to the addenda of October 4th, 2010 ADP. Curious? Reply, then.

  7. thewordofme says:

    Hello Christ’s Angel,

O.K. I’ll bite, what the heck are you talking about??

    twom

  8. Christ's Angel says:

Prophecy about the Pontiff before “Petrus Romanus” is clear in these words, “a Roman of good age”. The concensus is that Cardinal Ratzinger is of German descent.

  9. thewordofme says:

    Hi Christ’s Angel,

If you infer that “a Roman of good age” means a citizen of the Roman Empire…which it does because it was written in those times…then the prophecy is meaningless. There are no Romans left. The empire was lost in about 400 to 500 AD.

A citizen of Rome now only means he/she lives in the city of Rome…totally different meaning.

  10. Christ's Angel says:

The prophecy to which I refer is in “Centuries” by Michel Notre Dame, written c. 400 years ago. Romans and the Roman Empire are a part of eternity now. To say either or both don’t exist is negating reality. My brother coerced me into shooting the current Pontiff with a hand gun when I was a minor many years ago. That Pontiff will probably die because of my and my brother’s misdeed. The very fact that most don’t know who the Pontiff really is, is probably my fault, a simple pressure of the index finger has caused world-wide disaster. But it is just not my brother and I who share such guilt. The makers of the handgun, the sellers and buyers of handguns, and those who supply ammunition are also to blame – and even by extension, all who have sinned less the victim which is every one except that Pontiff Nicholas.

A similar early example of such travesty is also not well known. The rise of Islam is due to catering to the whims of the fallacies of speech. I totally disagree with the title of this blog. The Catholic Church is good. Many have efforted to modify “Church” to suit the claimed needs of their argument. I could not in good conscience include the word evil as any sort of modifier to Church. When I pulled that trigger, I was responsible, even though I acted irresponsibly. When my brother told me to shoot, he was responsible, even though he acted irresponsibly. We did evil. We acted outside the Church.

It is not the evil that causes the Church to shine, but the light of Christ. The Catholic Church openly professes foundation from Christ’s words “…and upon this rock I shall build my Church.” The Pontiff in the early first Christian millienium who strove to make peace with factions on how “and the Son” (the Filoque) was to be propagated ended doing that which was against his better judgement.

God has protected Pontiff Nicholas all these years even if my misdeed amounts to a chastening. He will continue to protect him and all of us according to His Divine Plan which unveils as a great scroll.

O.K. I detect a little departure from reality here. You have a great life.

  12. Christ's Angel says:

The only departure from reality is that you choose to live life with your head up your anus. Then you think you can write.
