The Justice Of God…The Mercy Of Christ

Chaos And The Rapture May 21st.

Well, its around 8:00 pm Friday night and I’m ensconced in my air-tight, water-tight bunker, checking on my survival supples and firearms, with the radios tuned to the emergency channels. I’m fully prepared for the coming rapture tomorrow May, 21st., 2011 I suspect that the visions of a few million people floating up to heaven will totally freak out most people who witness it from the ground (knowing that they aren’t going to heaven) and they will go berserk and chaos will prevail…thus beginning the end of civilization as we know it.

🙂 Just kidding; I’m actually relaxing with a tall cold one in my favorite chair and contemplating tomorrow and all the cacophonous and raucous laughter that I will direct at the people who believe this kind of Sh*t. With all that has been disproven about religion there are still idiots that think there is a God looking down on us with disapproval, and chomping at the bit to start the killing. Is it just Christians, or are other religious sects aching for the end of life on earth…I sure hope not

You know, if you are an atheist you don’t have to bother with this kind of crap. 🙂

UPDATE: It’s past 6pm Saturday in some parts of the world now and there have been NO reports of gigantic earthquakes anywhere on earth

The Rapture on May 21st.

Have you kind people been preparing for the Rapture?  Have you told all your relatives and friends to not fly or take a road trip on this coming Saturday, May 21^st.?  Have you made arrangements for some pagan to come and care for your pet dog or cat or whatever?

I’ve been trying to get some rapture believers to sign over the deeds on their houses and any prime real estate they own, but have been so far unable to persuade them that they should.  I suspect/think they really don’t believe the rapture will happen. Imagine that…doubting their own prophecies.

So far I have put up new sandbags around the old bomb shelter, restocked 50cal. Ammo for the machine guns, laid in a year’s worth of food and water and first aid supplies, finally picked up that short wave radio and put in the burglar alarm system I have been procrastinating about.  The neighbors are looking at me kind of funny lately…I don’t know why.  NOT  🙂

I hear that there are thousands of “Rapture Parties” planned all across America…personally I think this is the appropriate response to this really stupid display of how ignorant much of the American Christian community is.  Men and women of the Christian persuasion have been predicting the “end times” for 2000 years now and all of us pagans get to laugh at them when the date just flies by with not a burp or bump to signify anything.  Hell, even Jesus himself predicted the end of the world in his own time…just shows you how much that supposed Man/God knows.

Well if you look at the Christian record of things they have been pretty bad prognosticators about much of what they believe in.  They can’t seem to come up with any real evidence to back up most their claims about God and Jesus and end times. They revere a 1700 year old book like it is the be all and end all of human existence…totally ignoring what we have learned in those 1700 years as humans.

One of the Christians champion debaters (W.L. Craig) has recently said it is alright to kill children if “God tells you too.”  They believe that it’s O.K. to kill people for things the Bible rails against such as: disrespect to parents, mixing crops in a field, mixing two different fabrics together,  adultery, homosexuality, masturbation…hell,  just about anything to do with sex, except married couples in a missionary position.

The believers are hoping that come May 21^st. they will be looking down from heaven at us poor souls and laughing their heads off…I suspect I will be looking at those poor silly confused people…laughing MY head off come that day

Texas Tries To Kill Science In Its Schools…Again

Once again the Texas Board of Education (TBOE) is flirting with adding patently religious material to its instructional materials to be used in science classrooms.  The battle of course is really about evolutionary theory and the Texas religious rights continuing battle to get religious dogma into their public school classrooms.   In 2009 the Texas Board of Education said that students should be taught “all sides” of current scientific theories, and that “all sides” is code for the religious side, or teaching that the earth was created 6,000 years ago by the Christian God Yahweh in 6 literal 24 hour days.

Of course they want the students to side with them and reject the actual scientific proofs and be good little Christian boys and girls so they can assure the cultural reproduction of the fundamentalist creationist ethos.

To achieve this end the TBOE has seemingly partnered with a little known company called International Databases, LLC that is based in New Mexico (said to be a one man operation).  The material that is being considered is obviously slanted towards creationism and/or Intelligent Design (same thing) and dismisses scientific truths. Are There Really “Peaceful Muslim’s”

Can Muslims ever really integrate into modern secular societies?

Once again the “Peaceful Muslims” are creating mayhem and death against Coptic Christians in Egypt.  The Muslims are a sect called Salafis…they are extremely ultraconservative and they are getting increasingly hostile towards Egypt’s Coptic community and attacking individuals and Coptic churches.  The armed forces and military leaders are not stopping the assaults or protecting the churches, so some of the Copts are fighting back creating a very volatile situation.

So, I just keep wondering when this “Peaceful Muslim” community is going to show itself.  I keep hearing about it, but it doesn’t ever seem to show itself.  Everywhere there are large Muslim communities there is unrest and criminal activities involving the Muslim’s  I posit that if there really was a large moderate Muslim group that they would put a quick stop to the terrorist activities that this “small minority” of extreme Muslims are engaged in.  Surely if the moderate Muslims are as plentiful as asserted they could control their evil brothers actions.

To answer the question at the top of the page…I seriously doubt it.

Should modern societies change to accommodate the Muslim religion…Never

National Day of Prayer Today

National Day of Prayer Today

O.K. you Christian Religious types, after today I expect some REAL improvement in this poor ol’ world.  You keep telling us atheist types that YES prayer absolutely works and it’s proven.  Well I have never seen any proof of the power of prayer (other than a limited “power of positive thinking thing” and placebo effect) and here is a really big spotlight kind of opportunity to prove to the secular world and all the other Non-Christian religions that ONLY the Christian religion has the POWER. You can prove this to us by ending the wars we (the US) are in, to stop the deaths of all the soldiers still there.  You should also be praying for the end of world hunger, the curing of all cancers, heart diseases, and childhood diseases.

There are hundreds of bad things in our country and the world that need your “power of prayer” to put an end to. I’ve mentioned a few of them in a recent post and they were things that prayer did not cure last year.  I expect that this year you and your cohorts will ramp up your God-given power of prayer and fix everything…also I think this year some of you really need to pay attention to the plight of our returning military servicemen who have arms and legs amputated…they could really use those limbs back. I figure if enough of you get together and petition God as a large group you’ll get His attention and he’ll fix this terribly serious problem.

Maybe some of you could work on the global warming thing (I know you Republicans will deny its happening…but, just to be sure…) and another bunch of you could concentrate on the fast disappearing fresh water and tremendous overpopulation problem in much of the world and just maybe enlarge the world’s oil supply too.  🙂

All-in-all the whole world really needs the power you Christians can bring to bear with your prayers to Jesus.  I look forward to the improvements we will see today, and the weeks to follow.

The Religious Right and Republican Party is Out To Kill Women

The Republican Party is out to kill women and/or their reproductive rights

Look out for HR3…a bill just passed by the house that is the most evil piece of legislation ever to exist since our country was created by those looking for liberty from religious control.

“…the bill will force all insurance companies in the country to drop abortion coverage.”  No Abortion for any reason…even if the life of the mother is in jeopardy, or the result of rape or incest.

This is the Republican Party and Christian religious rights agenda at its most evil…that agenda is to deny women any control over their own bodies.  They are taking on the role of the Big-Brother overseer of all women in this country…in sexual matters they will control women and you had better stay out of their way and off their radar or they will kill or destroy you.  This is tantamount to the creation of a “Religious Police” as found in Muslim controlled countries.

I have  made a promise to myself tonight.  I will do everything in my power and to my ability to work to kick out every Republican legislator from office…this is the most evil, immoral, vicious, malevolent, malignant, perverse, ugly, piece-of-shit law EVER to be proposed. It is a slap in the face not only to women, but anyone who values freedom.
