THEY Own Everything…Even You

Forget the politicians.
The politicians are put there to give you the idea that you have freedom of choice.
You don’t.
You have no choice.
You have owners.
They own you.
They own everything.
They own all the important land.
They own and control the corporations.
They’ve long since bought and paid for the Senate, the Congress, the state houses, the city halls, they’ve got the judges in their back pockets and they own all the big media companies, so they control just about all the news and information you get to hear.
They’ve got you by the balls.
They spend billions of dollars every year lobbying.
Lobbying to get what they want.

Well, we know what they want.
They want more for themselves and less for everybody else, but I’ll tell you what they don’t want, they don’t want a population of citizens capable of critical thinking.
They don’t want well informed, well educated people capable of critical thinking.
There not interested in that.  That doesn’t help them.  That’s against their interests.
That’s right.
They don’t want people who are smart enough to sit around a kitchen table and think about how they’re getting fu*ked by the system that threw them overboard 30 fu*king years ago.  They don’t want that.  George Carlin,  reformatted, but the same words, in the same order.

Think about all the even half way good jobs going overseas.  Think of the Republicans having a hissy fit and holding out for a tax break for millionaires and billionaires.  Some billionaires pay less taxes then I do.  To our government we are not individuals, we are mortgageable income units, only valuable because we can generate tax income for them to spend as they please.

War is a Racket

War is a racket and it always has been.

It is the oldest, most vicious, and most profitable con that governments all over the world use. Some wars are probably warranted, such as the war against Hitler and the Japanese empire. Some are just totally unjustified ways of killing off our children in the pursuit of some perverse national objective or business for relatives, friends, or business associates…such as the Vietnam and Iraq/Afghanistan debacles.

Politicians of all stripes and parties routinely lie and mislead their constituents and the whole country into believing a big lie, not admitting even to themselves that they are leading innocent people to their death and wide spread redistribution of money from taxpayers to government coffers and ultimately to their friends (and their own) bank accounts.  It is cold and cruel and calculated evil of the first order and it doesn’t seem to faze any politicians at all.

The only ones to profit are politicians, businesses, and bankers.  The profits are dollars…the losses are the deaths of our children and tens of thousands, or more, civilians who have the misfortune to be in the way. The general public pays…a few evil people make billions and the propaganda campaigns distort the actual truths so no one is held responsible for the carnage.

The real but not advertised toll of wars are newly placed gravestones, shattered minds, mangled bodies, broken homes, broken hearts, depression, economic instability, and mind-boggling tax bills for our future generations and all of these combine and contribute  to our sense of constant struggle and loss of stability in our lives.  We have a predatory government that feeds on its citizens.

For the very few the racket of war brings immense profits, but as always the cost of the operation of war is paid by us…the people who keep getting bamboozled.

Kind of reminds me of the Wall Street bailout too.  We take the losses…the billionaires take the profit.

In our current war with Iraq and Afghanistan compare what’s happening or happened there and go ahead and get really mad.  Our past and present (Bush/Obama) presidents have totally wasted billions and billions (some say Trillions) of dollars, but more importantly thousands and thousands of our young and bright sons and daughters in a useless and criminally misguided campaign. Does the word Vietnam bring back any memories to you? (We lost that one too).  And do you know what we get out of it…for the average person nothing but a tremendous tax bill that our children and grandchildren will still be paying for when we are dead and buried.

The government has effectively mortgaged our and our baby’s souls to pay for this.  We are nothing but a future source of income for the feds.

Think of what you have been duped into believing and check out the facts that both the Vietnam war and the Iraq/Afghanistan war were sold to us by our elected officials by using known falsehoods and manipulated data. Look at your Senators and Congress person and even your president…do they look concerned that thousands of our young people and as much as a million civilians in Iraq/Afghanistan have been killed in Iraq/Afghanistan? Ask them for honest opinions and see what you get.

These were/are not wars to secure American freedoms, rather they are wars of profit for a selected few…they have done nothing but divide our people, kill our young, and disillusion the nation.

How long will we as a people put up with getting swindled by our own government?

Bush ‘plans Iran air strike by August’

May 28th. Headline from the Asia Times Online out of Hong Kong.

The George W Bush administration plans to launch an air strike against Iran within the next two months, an informed source tells Asia Times Online, echoing other reports that have surfaced in the media in the United States recently.

Two key US senators briefed on the attack planned to go public with their opposition to the move, according to the source, but their projected New York Times op-ed piece has yet to appear.”

Story Here: Asia Times

We really need another war, don’t we? So far in Iraq we have lost over 4000 young Americans and it’s going to cost well over a trillion dollars. America is already broke; we just don’t realize it yet. China and Saudi Arabia and other Middle Eastern countries already own our economy. Bush and his policies have hocked our children’s, children’s, children’s future.

Isn’t Russia and China pretty friendly with Iran? Can you say “End Times?”

If this attack really happens, we need to immediately start bending over to kiss our ass goodbye.

Update 9.27.08  Well so much for that prognostication.

Laws are being broken…SRSLY

Hopefully our next president will re-instate the parts of the constitution that president Bush decided to remove. There seems to be some real doubt that it will happen. I am probably naïve, but I have always thought that our constitution was the backbone of our system of laws, the main ones that were never to be changed, could NOT be changed without proper ratification of most of the states

Our presidents and Senators and Congress people take an oath of office that says in part: “to uphold and defend the constitution of The United States of America” key words here being ‘uphold the constitution.’ Other laws that are passed are measured against this document, and if they are found to be contrary to said document, they are repealed. Am I right in this belief? Isn’t the oath that elected government officials take before they can hold office a legal contract that is upheld by law?

Do we as a nation, really think it’s right that the government can at it’s own will, change laws that our nation was founded on, change laws that are meant to uphold ‘human rights’? What of the will of the people? Are there any governments left that believe in ‘human rights’? Can it be possible that this power can be abused…You bet…is there any way to stop it…it doesn’t seem so at this point. Human rights are being redefined in our lifetime, in our country, and it’s not for the better.

There needs to be some way to address this problem, and you better believe it’s a problem. Let them keep stomping on us, and they will find it easier as time goes by. This is the way that all dictatorships begin, a slow chipping away at freedoms until it’s suddenly to late for the citizens to correct. They are enslaved and they don’t even see it coming.

Did you ever noticed that there are now laws that prevent you from speaking out to any government bureaucrat. Try talking to an IRS agent, or airport security guard, or policeman, or elected official. They will Taser you or throw you to the floor. I don’t mean smart mouthing, I mean honest questioning of their motive or means. It’s getting to the point that citizens have no recourse except to lower their head and continue walking.

Write a letter to your Senator or Congressperson…maybe if you’re trying to get some special consideration in zoning or something trivial you may get results. Try asking the hard questions and express serious concerns about the direction our laws are taking us. Good luck with that. These people are only slightly moved by tens of thousands of emails or letters. If the question is about something the Prez. wants or is a porkbarrel project of your elected person…not a chance in hell. Notice how sneaky they get at times; midnight sessions or unexpected or secret meetings, presidential signings. They’ll do what they want and then whine that it’s all for the greater good.

Nobody seems to care that untold trillions, yes I said Trillions, of dollars are disappearing, with no accounting for. Now the Prez. &VP just do it with out a worry or ‘by your leave.’ No one will question them. There is NO accountability in our government, and that needs to change.

Supreme court of course, is in Bush’s pocket.

What would you–out there– do? Would or should anyone do anything? Or, do you just want to keep your head down and keep on walking?

Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007 Redux

H.R. 1955: Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act of 2007
Here’s how the political parties voted in the house in Oct, 07
These are your congressmen/women voting away your rights

Totals & Party Breakdown
Total                                        Democrat     Republican     Independent
Ayes: 404 (94%)                         219               185                     0
Nays: 6 (1%)                                    3                    3                     0
No Vote: 22 (5%)                          10                  12                     0
Required: 2/3 of 410 votes (274)

I have already written my Senators about HR 1955 and I will continue to urge
others (you) to write and tell their Senators that they strongly oppose this bill.

HR 1955 will effectively strip HALF of the Bill of Rights from our constitution.
This bill is an end run around the constitutional law of our country and is very
close to making certain ‘thoughts’ a crime.

Don’t take my word for it….surf the internet and see what others are saying about
this proposed law….it really is frightening.

You will not have to be a Muslim to feel the affects of this law.

I know I have posted on this subject before, but it’s really important to try to
defeat this law and I’m afraid that many young people will not even care….Till later.

Heres how to contact your Senators:

Help, does anyone know how to make tables work in WordPress ? Can’t seem to make
the voting results table work right.

Human Rights

How many human rights are you willing to give up before you get mad? Do you even realize at this point that you have already lost at least 5 that are outlined in the Bill of Rights of our Constitution.

Of course you know that our Constitution is the Main Law of the Land? It itemizes the laws that our representatives in Washington are not allowed to break….Ever. Their oath of office requires that they defend the Constitution against change, except by the process of amendment.

Do you know that president G.W. Bush broke those laws by signing presidential decrees, and Dick Cheney and all the people in cabinet offices and those on Capitol Hill, your Senators and Congressmen/women keep insisting that it’s legal?

I repeat….Our representatives in Washington (from the President on down) are breaking the laws that our country was founded on, that our ancestors died for.

Do you possibly still think that Washington will voluntarily give up that power, or never use it badly. You know, like against someone they want to stop or make disappear for political reasons. Do you think that it will never be used for financial gain by our politicians?

I don’t…

I know and understand that the people that attacked or helped in the assault on our country need to be captured or taken out, but not by undermining what we have stood for for over 200 years. Not by illegal torture, rendition to countries we can count on to torture. Torture does not work. People being tortured will tell their torturers anything to stop the pain.

Innocent people inevitably are swept up in these pogroms and although one of our Army generals seems to think it is OK if some innocents die, I doubt that the innocents thought so. Especially since they are denied the basic procedures of law to allow them to defend themselves. We treated the Germans and Japanese POW’s better in WWII, and they were killing 10’s of thousands of our young men.

The Second World War and the War on Terror are morally justifiable, they are “good wars” if such a thing is possible, though I suspect that it’s an oxymoron. The war in Iraq is not truly justifiable. It stands up there with Viet-Nam, and it should not cause the breaking of so many of our Constitutional laws and the corruption of our souls. And Dick Cheney and friends shouldn’t be making obscene fortunes from it.

Would you defend your country, if attacked by an overwhelming force like the Iraqis were? Knowing that the reasons for attack were bogus. I would, and probably in the same manner the Iraqi’s do.

Our country has stirred up a hornet’s nest in the Middle East and other parts of the world, not by attacking Afghanistan and the real terrorist, but by destroying Iraq

For some reason our leaders had to take out half the Constitution to fight this war. Hmm….

Shout out to my buddy Cole.

The Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act

Brothers and sisters, I can hardly believe the law that Congress is about to enact. The title is above, and the contents of said law would chill a corpse…

The First, Fourth, Fifth, Sixth, and Eighth Amendments
in the Bill of Rights have all will all be canceled. It won’t be the illegal end runs around the constitution that is going on now.

It will be codified and on the books–you will NOT be allowed to criticize our government.

You will NO LONGER have some constitutional HUMAN RIGHTS that we and our ancestors have enjoyed (and fought for) for over 230 years. My people have been in this country for 200 years, and it would make me ashamed to face them.

This is changing the constitution from the back door in a way that is, or should be, so illegal that every one of the 300 million people in this country should be descending on our representatives and screaming at them to stop this madness.

Stop and take a minute and think this through. OUR HUMAN RIGHTS we enjoy here in America are going to descend to the level of a number of third world countries. Think of Pakistan, think of Iran, think of Russia, think of Myanmar.

What I am writing right now will be illegal and the GW Bush SS TROOPS (Democrats are in this too) will be able to arrest me. They will be able to take me in custody, never allow me to have a day in court, seize all my assets–no matter how poor I am–torture me, and deny that they even have me in custody.

This is serious people, this is knock on your door in the middle of the night serious, this is not some scare tactic, it is really going to happen… Your Representatives in Washington–Congressmen and Senators–are selling us out–for real.

A quote from Mr. Phillip Giraldi, in The Huffington Post:

“The Violent Radicalization and Homegrown Terrorism Prevention Act. The Act, which was sponsored by Congresswoman Jane Harman of California, was passed in the House by an overwhelming 405 to 6 vote on October 24th and is now awaiting approval by the Senate Homeland Security Committee, which is headed by Senator Joseph Lieberman of Connecticut. It is believed that approval by the committee will take place shortly, to be followed by passage by the entire Senate.”

” The two Patriot Acts of 2001 and 2006 and the Military Commission Act or 2006 have collectively limited constitutional rights to free speech, freedom of association, freedom from illegal search, the right to habeas corpus, prohibition of cruel and unusual punishment, and freedom from the illegal seizure of private property.”
