Start Profiling and Searching Muslims

So the TSA and other US government officials are telling us that the new airport security procedures of either a full body scan, using cancer causing radiation, or a rigorous personal pat-down that includes an improper and constitutionally forbidden (unreasonable search, probable cause) feel up of your genital area is necessary to counteract the new threats of terrorism that we Americans are suddenly faced with.

My question to them is just when do they think we will have a strong enough handle on this terrorism thing to be able to discontinue the maddening SS style security measures at airports across our country? We know where all the terrorism threats and action is coming from…we know the exact people and exact countries that are involved in threatening us, and the whole world, with destruction; why are we not acting on this knowledge…in our airports?

We know what religion all the terrorists are; this has been consistent all over the world since 9-11. So it seems to me that all we have to do is put these 2 bits of information together about a specific person and we have reasonable cause to suspect certain people and put THEM through the gauntlet of security anytime they want to fly into or around the US. This is not rocket science, it is common sense.

Fairness and non-discrimination doesn’t enter in to the calculation; if you are a Muslim and come from–Ohhh, let’s say… Saudi Arabia…then you are going to get the full body scan and/or genital pat-down. If you are a Muslim women…the TSA will see your junk and you will bring shame on your family. My 90 year old, white haired granny from Kentucky will not be bothered, nor will I or my six year old grandson.

All the Muslims have to do to stop this insanity is to totally disown and lock-down all the crazy sons-a-bitch Mullahs and batspit crazy fundamentalists that prey on legitimate Muslims. Show us that you really are a “religion of peace.” When all the terrorist killings and bombings going on in the world is committed by Muslims it does not bring peace of mind to us, and I’m tired of paying the price for your religious idiots.

Sikhs are not supposed to take off their turbans in public, but now because of tighter screening rules the TSA says they must do just this…Sikhs are not happy.

Lakota Indian Tribes Secede from Union

I don’t feel we did wrong in taking this great country away from them. There were great numbers of people who needed new land, and the Indians were selfishly trying to keep it for themselves. —John Wayne

Yesterday, December 20, 2007 the Lakota Indian tribes from 5 states filed papers with the Federal Government to unilaterally withdraw from the American Union and all treaties that were signed in the 1800’s. States affected are North and South Dakota, Wyoming, Nebraska, and Montana.

Phyllis Young, who helped organize the first international conference on indigenous rights in Geneva, Switzerland in 1977 told a news conference. “We have 33 treaties with the United States that they have not lived by. They continue to take our land, our water, and our children.”

The treaties signed with the United States are merely”worthless words on worthless paper,” the Lakota freedom activists say on their website.

The treaties have been “repeatedly violated in order to steal our culture, our land, and our ability to maintain our way of life,” the freedom movement says.

Long time Indian Rights activist Russell Means speaking to reporters in Washington says: “We are no longer citizens of the United States of America, and all those who live in the five-state area that encompasses our country are free to join us.”

“It is also within the laws on treaties passed at the Vienna Convention and put in effect by the US and the rest of the international community in 1980. We are legally within our rights to be free and independent,” says Means

Oppression at the hands of the US government has taken it’s toll on on the Lakota, whose men have one of the shortest life expectancies–less than 44 years–in the world.

I’m glad that some of the tribes have finally taken this step…it is long overdue. The US has a long history of nothing but mistreatment and mismanagement of the Tribes. Over the years the government “LOST” a Trillion dollars of moneys that was legally due the Tribes.

The US down through the years has perpertrated a long list of terrorist treatment of all of our indigenous people. from the outright theft of land, water rights, to murder most foul, and separation of families. You really would not want to be an Indian in our culture yesterday or even today.

Looking in to the future, I wonder how this movement will fare. There is much evidence that the Feds will try a little diplomacy first, but if that doesn’t work quickly, they will start shooting. Our lawmaking process has a history of making up new laws quickly to cover what to them are unexpected events and making them apply retro-actively.
